About this work
Ezra has gone to the field with five men and is offered a fiery cup by God from which he drinks. This is the cup of knowledge and wisdom. The five men write down the words that Ezra speaks afterward. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the apocryphal Bible text in 4 Ezra 14:37. This print is part of an album.
