About this work

The Virgin Mary and the twelve apostles sit in a room. Fiery tongues, as a sign of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, burn above the heads of some of them. The Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, hovers above the apostles, surrounded by rays of light. Signed bottom right: a. Top right a reference to the biblical text in Acts 2. This print has been added to an album.
