About this work

Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it a medallion with on the front the portrait of Girolamo Barbarigo. On the back a Venetian delegation is received by Emperor Frederick III, standing under a baldachin. Around the pedestal the personification of Friendship, depicted with the Three Graces. As a group they are arranged so that both outer figures are visible in the face and the middle one is not. Their attributes are a die, a myrtle branch and a rose. The print is part of an album.
