About this work

Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it a medallion with on the front the portrait of Francesco Barbarigo. On the back an empty field with the text: Cyprus in Potestatem Reipublicae Redacta. The pedestal is surrounded by three personifications. On the left stands Liberality. The woman with a crown on her head offers a golden chain. Her left hand rests on the head of a lion. In the middle stands Politics with scales. The woman on the right has a rod and leans with her arm on a pillar. She points to a globe with the signs of the zodiac. The print is part of an album.
