About this work
Pedestal in the form of a cartouche. On it a medallion with on the front the portrait of Agostino Barbarigo with a doge's hat. On the back the doge receives Caterina Cornaro, Queen of Cyprus. The pedestal is flanked by two personifications. On the left stands Gratitude with stork and branches with beans. She stands before the doge's palace. On the right a man with a cornucopia and crown in his hands. At his feet a snake. The print is part of an album.
