About this work
The army of Timotheus marches against Judea and fights against the Jews. In the sky five riders on horses with golden bridles appear, taking command of the Jewish troops. They pelt the men of Timotheus with arrows and lightning. Under the depiction a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in 2 Macc. 10. This print is part of an album.
