About this work

A rich man has even larger barns built for his wealth and grain. He sits at a table surrounded by his money. In the open chest lies a stick purse. Below the image is a Latin reference to the biblical text in Luke 12:16 and to the continuation of the story: the rich man will die that night. This print is part of an album.
