About this work

The sixth angel blows the trumpet. Next to the angel sits God the Father on his throne and stands the golden altar with the four horns from which a voice comes ordering that the four angels who are imprisoned must be released. The angels and the riders on horses with lion heads destroy a third of humanity. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Revelation 9. This print is part of an album.
