About this work
In the foreground the Jewish people fight against the army of the Amalekites. In the background on a hill Moses, Aaron and Hur. Moses holds his arms in the air so that the Jewish army wins the battle. Aaron and Hur help Moses by supporting his arms. Below the scene a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in Exodus 17.
