About this work

Balaam stands with Balak, the king of Moab, on a mountain and they look out over the Israelites' camp. Balak wants Balaam to curse the people, but Balaam blesses them instead. On the mountain are altars and Moabite warriors are standing. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Numbers 23-24. This print is part of an album.
