About this work
Balaam stands with Balak, the king of Moab, on a mountain and they look out over the tent camp of the Israelites. Balak wants Balaam to curse the people, but Balaam blesses them instead. On the mountain altars are erected and Moabite warriors stand there. Below the image a Latin reference to the biblical text in Num. 23-24. This print is part of an album.
