About this work

Jonah stands on the coastline and looks at God who lies on a cloud. God gives Jonah the order to go to Nineveh. At the quay wall lies the ship with which Jonah fled. On the water it can be seen how Jonah is later thrown overboard and swallowed by a fish. Below the image an explanatory text in Latin. Print is part of an album.
