About this work

The prophets Elijah and Elisha are traveling together. At the Jordan, Elijah strikes the water with his mantle, causing the water to flow away so they can cross on dry land. On the left, the group of prophets follows them at a distance. On the other side, Elijah asks Elisha what he can do for him. Elisha asks to receive the spirit of Elijah. Oval image in an ormolu frame. The print is part of an album.
