About this work
Queen Jezebel, in the name of King Ahab, sends letters to the elders and nobles of Naboth's city. She asks them to proclaim a fast day, accuse Naboth of blasphemy and treason, and have him stoned. Scribes sit at a table writing the letters. Jezebel sets the royal seal under the letters. Below the depiction a verse in Latin. Print is part of an album.
