About this work

Judith with the sword in one hand and the head of Holofernes in the other. Her maid holds a bag open for the head. Behind them, the beheaded Holofernes in his tent. On the right in the background, the Assyrian army camp. On the right rear, Judith and her maid march towards Bethulia. Below the scene, a reference in Latin to the biblical text in Judith 13:9. Print is part of an album.
