About this work

Judith holds a sword in one hand and the head of Holofernes in the other. Her maid holds a bag open for the head. Behind her, the beheaded Holofernes lies in his tent. On the right in the background, the Assyrian army camp. Below the image, a Latin reference to the biblical text in Judith 13:9. This print is part of an album.
