About this work

Album with 24 prints on 26 sheets. The album consists of a title print and two series of prints. The first series are designs for gold- or silversmiths, ca. 1650–1676. These nine prints show designs for clock cases with various biblical scenes from the Old and New Testaments, and (mainly) flower bouquets. These are followed by 11 sheets with a series of flower illustrations. On a blank sheet before the title print is a drawn monogram (JJDM); after the last print is a drawn coat of arms.
