About this work
Album with 26 prints on 26 album leaves. The album contains the title print and 15 of the 42 leaves with writing examples from the writing book by Jodocus Hondius titled: Theatrum artis scribendi (1614). Added are seven leaves by Lucas Materot, Les Oeuvres [...] Ou l'on comprendre facilement la manier de bien et proprement escrire toute sorte de lettre Italienne selon l'usage de ce siècle (1608); two leaves by Jean de la Chambres Exemplaar-boeck inhoudende verscheijden geschriften (1649) and one leaf by Anthoni Smyters' Schryf Kunst Boeck (1613). Parchment binding with two flyleaves at the front and back.
