About this work

Man standing before a landscape, dressed according to the fashion around 1660. He wears a very short doublet (innocent) with a lace collar, puffed knee breeches with rouches, and shoes with bows. On his long hair, a hat with a high, tapering crown, with a hatband. To the rear right, a carriage.
