About this work

Illustration of the second article of faith ([I believe] in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord) of the Apostles' Creed. The Transfiguration: Christ's face shines like the sun. Elijah and Moses appear on either side of Christ and speak with him. On the mountain sit John, Peter, and James. Above the depiction a reference to the Bible text in Matt. 17:2-3. Below the depiction two Bible texts and the second article of faith from the Apostles' Creed in Latin. This print is part of an album.
