About this work
Illustration of the eighth article of faith (I believe in the Holy Spirit) of the Apostles' Creed. Mary and the twelve apostles sit in a room. Fiery tongues burn above the heads of some of them. The Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, hovers above the apostles, surrounded by rays of light. Above the depiction a reference to the Bible text in Acts 2:3-4. Below the depiction two Bible texts and the eighth article of faith from the Apostles' Creed in Latin. This print is part of an album.
