About this work
While fighting takes place around the Trojan Horse, Polyxena, the youngest daughter of King Priam, kneels at the grave of Achilles. Next to her stands Neoptolemos with raised sword ready to sacrifice Polyxena. Below the image is a line of Latin text, numbered on the right: 8. The print is part of a series of prints about the Trojan War.
