About this work
Four ladies' hairstyles with different hats, divided into ovals. Top left: hat of gauze trimmed with blonde (bobbin lace) and flower garland, worn on a 'demi négligé' hairstyle. Top right: hat according to the latest fashion, similar to the hat called 'a la Spa'. Bottom left: hat decorated with ribbon instead of flowers. Bottom right: 'coeffure' without 'toque' and a large straw hat with plumes on top and a ribbon with bows around it. Print from series 34th Cahier de Costumes Français, 8th Suite de Coeffures à la mode en 1780, Gallerie des Modes et Costumes Français.
