From left to right. Two buckles: an oval and a square one with the letter 'M'. Young man dressed in a striped 'habit' and waistcoat. Apple-green wool breeches. Vertically striped stockings. Accessories: hat, walking stick, fob, shoes with decorated buckles. Woman dressed in a white redingote and apple-green under-skirt with white silk fringe. On her head a 'cornette a la Paysanne', upon which a 'chapeau au bateau renversé' (??). Fan in hand. The print is part of the 19th Cahier, 3rd year, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 – 21 December 1789.
