About this work

Two frames with a plaque at the bottom. Man or Marquis, making a slight bow. He wears a habit, neckerchief, waistcoat, breeches, and stockings. Ruffled jabot and cuffs. Accessories: tricorne hat, belt, fob, buckled shoes. Standing woman dressed in a jacket with a train and skirt, trimmed with draperies and garlands of ribbons, bows, and flowers. Accessories: hat with pearls and flowers, fan. The print is probably part of an almanac, ca. 1778.
