About this work
Young man, walking to the left, dressed in a striped habit with large buttons and patch pockets. He wears a tied neckerchief, waistcoat, yellow breeches, and stockings. Ruffled cuff. Accessories: bow (?) in his hair, flower corsage, hat, brooches, buckled shoes. The print is a mirror-image copy by publisher J.J. Tuttot in Liège, after the 2nd Year, 32nd Cahier, from the series Magasin des Modes Nouvelles Françaises et Anglaises. The series consists of 172 fashion prints, published by Buisson, Paris, 20 November 1786 - 21 December 1789.
