Standing man, seen from the back, with a tall hat with a cockade on his head: 'Chapeau en Bateau.' His hair is half long. He wears a redingote with a low waist and octagonal buttons. Striped stockings and leather garters on boots with pointed toes. Around his neck a neckerchief (?). The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Sellèque, Paris, 1797-1839.
