Woman, seen from the back, walking to the left, holding a girl by the hand. Her hair 'à la Titus'. Around her neck a small checkered fichu over which a mantelet of tulle, trimmed with lace. She wears a japon with short sleeves, high waist and train. Accessories: earring in the left ear, handkerchief, bracelets on both wrists, flat shoe with pointed toe. The girl wears a colored japon with short sleeves. On her head a polka-dotted cap. According to the caption, this scene was drawn from life on the 'Boulevart(!) de la Magdeleine'. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Sellèque, Paris, 1797-1839.
