Woman in a satin 'polonaise'. Shawl of 'cashmere' with gold embroidery. Further accessories: Hat, flat shoes with pointed toes. Man dressed in a frock coat, waistcoat, and striped velvet trousers. Neck scarf. Black woolen stockings. Hair cut short ('à la Brutus'). Hat in hand.
