About this work

Standing woman dressed in a satin bodice decorated with a satin 'bouffant' and a Blonde (bobbin lace) volant. On her head a turban of crêpe and satin decorated with aigrettes and bracelets, from the shops of Mure. Figure in the same bodice, seen from the back, sitting on a tabouret. Print from the fashion magazine *Petit Courrier des Dames* (1821-1868).
