Two women by a staircase in a park. Left: striped gown with long tight sleeves and wide skirt, decorated with strips of fabric with scalloped hem. In hand, a parasol trimmed with fringes. Right: gown and matching short shoulder cape, decorated with gathered strips of fabric (lace?). Print from the fashion magazine Journal des Demoiselles (1833-1922).
