About this work

Judith stands in the opening of the tent with the head of Holofernes in one hand and the sword in the other. She puts the head of Holofernes into the bag that the maid holds open for her. The accompanying text below begins with a small decorated initial G. To the right of this album sheet two explanations of depictions about the Maccabees, numbered 61 and 62. The sheet is part of an album.
