About this work
In the foreground, the Israelites dig open the water wells that the Philistines had previously filled in out of jealousy. To the left in the background, Isaac's servants find a spring with clear water. Isaac sits on a stone and discusses with one of the shepherds whose the found spring is (Gen. 26:18). The print is part of an album.
