About this work

The Pharisees, with devils above their heads, pick up stones to throw at Christ after he has made the statement that he was already there before Abraham. Christ manages to escape from the temple unnoticed in the end. Letters are placed at various elements of the representation. At E the coming of Christ to Abraham is revealed. The print is part of an album.
