About this work

Mary and Joseph have brought Christ to the temple. The high priest Simeon blesses the Child. Mary offers the basket with a pair of doves. Letters stand at various elements of the image. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Luke 2: 22-24. The print is part of an album.
