About this work

On the way to Jerusalem Christ predicts his suffering to his disciples. At the top eight medallions with scenes from the passion of Christ. Letters stand next to various elements of the scene. Above the image a title. Below it six lines of verse and a reference to Matthew 20: 17-19. The print is part of an album.
