About this work
A cross stands in a landscape with trees and animals. Beside it a menorah and altar. On top of the cross a pelican feeds its young. Enclosed in an ornamental border with cartouches. Inside a chalice with host, a hem, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove above a stream, a pedestal with skull, two loving doves and a pair of shears with comb. Below a pyramid with an image of lilies among the thistles.
