Map of the Batavian and Frisian areas in the Netherlands and Germany in Roman times. Cartouche with title in the upper left. Next to the title sits a male figure with a two-horned crown, in one hand he carries a leader's staff, in the other a spear with a liberty cap hanging from it. In the background stands a woman with a sheaf of corn (possibly Ceres). Scale bar below cartouche: As gradus. Degree distribution along the left and right edges.
