About this work
Two scenes of the cruelties committed by French troops in Dutch villages in the year 1672, copied from the prints by Romeyn de Hooghe from 1673 (FM 2439). In the upper scene, persons are tortured and killed in various ways. The scene below shows executions and how various buildings are demolished. The print is numbered: 1.
