About this work

Monument in honor of Frederick, Prince of Hesse with four scenes of events that took place during his successful defense of Maastricht against the French from 24 February to 2 March 1793. The scenes flank a column with honors crowned with a medallion with his portrait and show the defense of Maastricht.
