About this work
Monument for Joachim Maurits von Kropff with four scenes of events that led to his death during the siege and surrender at Klundert on 22-25 February 1793. They flank a column with honors crowned with a medallion with his portrait and show the defense by Von Kropff, his dead body that is found in the water, the mistreatment after his death and his burial.
