Part of a frieze on one of the two fireplaces in the Burgomasters' Council Chamber of the Town Hall on the Dam in Amsterdam. On that frieze, of which this representation is a part, the coat of arms of Amsterdam is visible in the center, crowned by two putti. On either side of it, various putti, some of whom are depicted as virtues. On this part, on the left, the coat of arms of Amsterdam with one of the two putti that crown it. In the center, a putto as a personification of Prudence (Prudentia). On the right, a part of a putto as a personification of Justice (Justitia). Numbered 1 in the lower right corner.
