Part of a frieze on one of the two shoulders in the Vroedschapskamer of the Town Hall on the Dam in Amsterdam. On that frieze, of which this representation is a part, allegorical representations concerning good counsel ('goeden raedt'), i.e., understanding, insight and/or wisdom, are depicted.
