View of the Binnen-Amstel with the part of the Diaconieweeshuis on Vlooienburg, opened in 1657, on the right, Amsterdam. Viewed from the Blauwbrug. This orphanage was intended for orphans of the Dutch Reformed (later Reformed) church whose parents were not burghers.
