View of the Diaconie Oude Vrouwen- en Mannenhuis on the Binnen-Amstel, opened in 1681, Amsterdam. Initially intended only for women of the Dutch Reformed (later Reformed) church, from 1719 men could also be accommodated there. Bridge over the Nieuwe Herengracht on the left, bridge over the Nieuwe Keizersgracht on the right. Marked bottom right: D.
