About this work
Saint and martyr Boniface, archbishop of Utrecht, depicted in bishop's vestments with mitre. In his right hand he holds a book through which a sword pierces, in his left hand a whip and a staff from which a fountain springs. Print from a series of twelve prints with prelates and bishops of Utrecht by Cornelis and Frederick Bloemaert.
