About this work

The holy martyr Boniface, Archbishop of Utrecht, depicted in bishop's vestments with mitre. In his right hand he holds a book pierced by a sword, in his left hand a whip and a staff from which a fountain springs. Print from a series of twelve prints of prelates and bishops of Utrecht by Cornelis and Frederick Bloemaert.
