About this work

Willibrord, the first bishop of Utrecht, in bishop's vestments with mitre and staff. He holds a model of the Utrecht Cathedral in his hand. The wine barrel and jugs refer to a miracle that occurred in the monastery of Echternach under his rule. Print from a series of twelve prints depicting prelates and bishops of Utrecht by Cornelis and Frederick Bloemaert.
