About this work
Saint Posidonius frees a woman during childbirth from a demon. Between Posidonius and the woman stands a cradle with a child in it. In the doorway the woman stands again healthy and freed from the demon. Print from a series of 80 prints and a title print with hermits from the 2nd to the 6th century.
