About this work
The elderly Abraham kneels on a hill and looks to the sky. In a cloud sits God who orders Abraham to call himself and his wife Abraham and Sarah from now on. He also predicts that Sarah will bear a son within a year. Print from a series of six prints depicting the life story of the patriarch Abraham.
